Metal Mesh Filters

Our Metal Mesh Filters have been manufactured from bonded aluminum material which consists of several layers of tiny baffles that have been all bonded together making up a solid media. The air/grease filters’ frame is made of .025 thick aluminum. The Metal Mesh Filter element can retain 204 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. in a 20×20 with average arrestance of 71.5%. The filters’ resistance when clean is 0.4 w.g. (water gauge) at 350 FPM (Feet Per Minute).
Metal Mesh Filters have typically been referred to as “grease filters” they are anything but. These types of Metal Mesh Filters are designed and installed in electrical/communication cabinetry, ventilation inlets, construction equipment vehicles, pre-filtering and screening consoles; and of course, exhaust ventilation outlets as found in kitchen ventilation.
Doubles as an EMI/RFI (electromagnetic/radio frequency interference) attenuator.
Choice of aluminum channel thickness 7/16″ or 3/8″.
